Our Veterinarians
Vic Perger, DVM
|
Dr. Vic Perger, a native of Wisconsin, graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary medicine in 1977. He owned McFarland Animal Hospital near Madison, Wisconsin for 9 years before moving to Spokane where he opened Fairwood Animal Hospital in 1991. Dr. Perger’s special interests are pet dentistry, laser surgery and canine reproduction.
When not at the hospital Dr. Perger enjoys travel, woodworking and reading. He and his wife Cindy have three daughters and three grandchildren. They share their home with Chance, an English Setter and Sophie, a Jack Russell terrier.

Ben Hart, DVM
|
Dr. Ben Hart joined our staff in 2006 after practicing in Longview, Washington for several years. A 2002 graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Hart has a special interest in orthopedic surgery, ultrasound and endoscopy.
Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as hunting with his German Wirehair Pointer, Tess. He and his wife Jennifer also share their home with 2 cats and a German Shepherd cross named Sadie.
